Mr. Daugherty is an experienced Project Manager and Healthcare Administrator with more than 21 years of experience. As a Consultant at LBG, he is responsible for client success in the execution of multiple government-funded contracts. As a Project Manager, he leads multidisciplinary teams in the field of life sciences, including post-award activities for the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, Marburg vaccine development, and nerve agent prophylaxis development.
Before joining LBG, Mr. Daugherty served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force, where he led the Defense Health Agency through research and development efforts to enhance medical capabilities. As a requirements developer, he managed a $212 million medical modernization portfolio for 76 medical treatment facilities. As a healthcare administrator, he has demonstrated a pattern of success in improving organizational performance. This achievement was accomplished as a result of extensive government experience in the development of contracts and acquisitions to fill requirements for capabilities at the strategic and tactical levels of the Military Health System.
Mr. Daugherty is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute and is also a Fellow for the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). In addition, he has been certified as a Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) through the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He holds a BS in Healthcare Management from Park University and an MBA from Troy University.
