Brittany Martínez, Ph.D.

Dr. Martínez is an experienced project manager and scientist who brings a multi-faceted approach to tackling complex challenges. As a Consultant 2, she promotes LBG’s Government Services efforts to support clients in acquiring, developing, and managing their biomedical programs. Dr. Martínez brings a diverse blend of multilevel technical biomedical science and engineering expertise that empowers transformation of abstract ideas into tangible solutions. Prior to LBG, Dr. Martínez worked at PPD-Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Scientist in clinical laboratory services leading the development and validation of immunoassays for small molecules in clinical trial testing. She has clear knowledge of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and align cross-functional teams.  

Prior to his role at PPD, Dr. Martínez worked as a Systems Immunologist working to enhance personalized medicine and patient outcomes at a biotech company studying unique genetic and transcriptional biomarkers for patients with cutaneous systemic lupus erythematosus.  

Dr. Martínez received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology as well as her M.S. in Biological and Physical Sciences, both from the University of Virginia. Prior to graduate school, she received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University with a minor in Applied Mathematics.
