As a Senior Consultant at LBG, Mr. Williams provides project management and program management support to client-related projects for companies of various sizes. He is a biopharmaceutical and biotechnology product development professional with more than 15 years of experience, including laboratory benchtop testing—from discovery research to analytical development and post-formulation testing of marketed drugs. In a previous role as a process improvement consultant, Mr. Williams was responsible for helping emerging companies develop and initiate process improvement strategies to minimize waste and make processes more efficient. He is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB®).
Mr. Williams served as a Research Fellow with the Nemours Biomedical Research Institute (currently Nemours) in Wilmington, Delaware, where he secured a $2 million federal grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to perform exploratory research in Neuroscience and Parkinson’s disease. He also served as a visiting research scholar in the Biomedical Engineering Research Lab of Dr. David Juncker at the McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he studied breakthrough technologies in nanoengineering. In addition, he has been recognized for his thought leadership with several publications in professional peer-reviewed scientific journals related to his research as well as by the University of Delaware for his leadership in the academic community.
Mr. Williams currently serves on the Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Saint Francis Hospital Board of Advisors. He has also served on numerous panels at industry conferences, including CPHI North America.
Mr. Williams earned his MBA in Strategic Leadership and Management from the University of Delaware.
